FSU is an online Christian theological and drama ministry university. All courses, content, and programs are provided from a specific Christian perspective.
Doctrinal Expectations: While FSU does not require students to adhere to a specific denomination, all users and students agree to respect the core Christian doctrinal commitments and faith-based mission of the University.
Ministry Focus: Academic programs in Theology and Drama Ministry are designed for Christian ministry and vocational preparation.
Accreditation: Students acknowledge that FSU may operate as a non-regionally or specifically accredited religious exempt institution, and they are responsible for verifying if credits are transferable to other institutions or applicable to specific secular professional certifications.
Enrollment: Enrollment is only valid upon acceptance into a program and receipt of the initial required tuition payment. All information provided during the application process must be accurate and truthful.
Financial Obligations: Students are responsible for all tuition, fees, and charges associated with their enrollment. Failure to meet financial obligations may result in the suspension of access to course materials, withholding of transcripts, or involuntary withdrawal from the University.
Refund Policy: All refund requests are subject to FSU’s official Refund Policy, which is outlined separately in the Student Handbook and must be reviewed prior to enrollment.
All content on the Site and within the online learning platform, including course lectures, written materials, drama scripts, videos, graphics, audio, and the FSU logo (“University Content”), is the exclusive property of Flaming Sword University or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
Limited License: Students are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the University Content solely for their personal, educational purposes related to the specific program of enrollment.
Prohibited Use: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, modify, create derivative works from, sell, or exploit any University Content for commercial purposes or share it with non-enrolled parties. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing access credentials, posting lecture videos publicly, or using FSU-provided drama scripts for professional performance without separate written consent.
Student Work: Any original creative work, such as drama scripts or video projects, created by a student while enrolled in a program remains the intellectual property of the student, but the student grants FSU a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use such work for internal educational and promotional purposes.
As a Christian ministry university, FSU holds its users and students to high standards of conduct reflecting its faith-based mission.
Respectful Communication: All interactions with faculty, staff, and fellow students (e.g., in discussion forums, emails, or video conferences) must be conducted with respect, integrity, and Christian love. Harassment, bullying, or disrespectful behavior is strictly prohibited.
Academic Integrity: Any form of academic dishonesty, including plagiarism, cheating on examinations, or submitting the work of others as your own, will result in disciplinary action up to and including expulsion.
System Integrity: You must not attempt to breach the security of the Site or the learning platform, introduce malicious software, or otherwise impair the functionality of FSU’s digital infrastructure.
The Site and all University Content are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
