$150

1. Introduction A. Overview The Outreach/Field Drama Practicum is a hands-on, experiential learning component of Christian drama ministry. It involves the application of dramatic arts in real-life ministry contexts—outside of the classroom and beyond church walls. This lecture prepares students to understand the biblical foundation, practical skills, and spiritual sensitivity required for effective field ministry using drama as a tool for evangelism, discipleship, healing, and societal transformation. ⸻ 2. Objectives of the Lecture By the end of this lecture, students will be able to: 1. Define key terms related to outreach drama (e.g., outreach drama, field drama practicum, drama missions). 2. Explain the biblical foundations of field drama ministry, citing scriptural examples (e.g., parables, Ezekiel, Jeremiah). 3. Identify and differentiate various types of dramatic presentations suitable for outreach (e.g., flash drama, sketches, puppet shows). 4. Plan an outreach drama by selecting culturally relevant, biblically grounded scripts appropriate to the target audience. 5. Demonstrate spiritual preparation (personal consecration, prayer, fasting, word study) prior to field ministry. 6. Organize team roles and responsibilities (leader, prayer coordinator, cast director, welfare, follow-up) for effective outreach. 7. Perform short drama skits in real-life ministry contexts such as markets, schools, hospitals, and rural communities. 8. Apply ethical and cultural sensitivity principles when ministering in crosscultural or diverse contexts. 9. Evaluate the effectiveness of an outreach drama using measurable indicators (attendance, engagement, altar calls, testimonies, follow-up).
