Learning Objectives: By the end of this lecture, students will be able to: 1. Define the concept of Christian filmmaking and distinguish it from secular filmmaking. 2. Identify at least three scriptural foundations that support storytelling and creative media use in Christian ministry. 3. List and explain at least five key components that make up a Christian film (e.g., screenplay, characters, conflict, resolution, music). 4. Compare and contrast Christian and secular filmmaking across four criteria: goals, message, content, and creative direction. 5. Evaluate the importance of Christian films in evangelism, discipleship, and cultural engagement. 6. Describe at least four key roles involved in the Christian filmmaking process and explain their spiritual responsibilities. 7. Demonstrate understanding of the moral and spiritual responsibility of a Christian filmmaker by referencing at least one supporting Bible verse. 8. Analyze a Christian film (from provided examples or personal choice) and explain what elements made it impactful from both a storytelling and spiritual perspective.
