Description
Key Scriptures “But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.” — 1 Corinthians 14:40 “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?” ⸻ — Luke 14:28 Learning Objectives By the end of this course, students will be able to: 1. Define the stages of drama production (Pre-Production, Production, PostProduction) and describe their purpose in a ministry setting. 2. Identify and differentiate the roles and responsibilities of key team members involved in a Christian drama production (e.g., Director, Producer, Writer, Prayer Team) 3. Create a basic production plan that includes script selection, budgeting, casting, scheduling, and spiritual preparation. 4. Apply time management and team coordination strategies during the production phase to ensure smooth rehearsals and performances. 5. Analyze potential production pitfalls (e.g., poor planning, technical failure, team disunity) and propose practical solutions for each. 6. Demonstrate the ability to integrate spiritual disciplines (prayer, fasting, vision alignment) into the production planning and execution process. 7. Evaluate the effectiveness of a completed drama production by gathering feedback, testimonies, and assessing spiritual impact. 8. Develop and utilize production planning tools (e.g., budget worksheet, rehearsal schedule, feedback forms) to organize and manage a drama project. 9. Reflect on a case study or personal experience to assess how closely a production aligned with ministry goals and the leading of the Holy Spirit. 10. Collaborate with a simulated or real team to plan and present a short drama outline that includes all three production phases.
