Lecture Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1. Define the concepts of talent and anointing as they relate to Christian drama.
2. Differentiate between acting with talent and acting with anointing by listing at
least 4 key distinctions.
3. Identify at least 3 indicators that suggest a drama performance is being
delivered under the anointing.
4. Explain the importance of cultivating anointing in addition to developing
acting skills in Christian drama.
5. Describe a personal plan to cultivate anointing, including at least 3 specific
spiritual practices (e.g., prayer, consecration, studying the Word).
6. Evaluate a drama performance (live or recorded) and assess whether it
demonstrates talent, anointing, or both, using specific criteria.
7. Develop a 1–2 minute monologue or skit that demonstrates both skillful
acting and spiritual sensitivity, incorporating feedback on both technique and
impact.
8. Reflect in writing on the dangers of relying solely on talent in ministry, citing
at least one biblical example
