Learning Objectives:
By the end of this lecture, students will be able to:
1. Explain the biblical significance of voice in ministry using at least two
scriptural references.
2. Label and describe the four key components of the voice production system
(power source, sound source, resonators, articulators) with 80% accuracy.
3. Differentiate between voice and speech by listing at least two distinctions in
structure and function.
4. Demonstrate diaphragmatic breathing for 60 seconds with visible belly
movement and controlled exhalation.
5. Perform a resonance exercise (humming and vowel transition) for 2 minutes,
producing vibration in at least two resonance zones (e.g., chest and lips).
6. Project their voice to the back of a room (or simulation) using breath support
and posture, without shouting, with audible clarity confirmed by a peer or instructor
7. Articulate three tongue twisters and one Bible-based tongue twister with clear
consonant formation and minimal slurring, achieving 80% intelligibility
